Value Your Self is a six-week programme for you who are in low spirits or feel dissatisfied with your life. You feel the need to change your life somehow.
The programme helps you to find new perspective and a positive direction in your life. It provides skills, not just information.
How does it work?
Experiential exercises: practise mindfulness skills, identify things that matter to you, and learn to recognise and accept your thoughts and feelings.
Take a moment each day to reflect as you progress through Value Your Self.
Builds on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Does it help?
Yes! Research studies at University of Jyväskylä found that depressive symptoms decreased and the participants were satisfied with the programme.
